Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everyone who uses Tabtab to generate images and other content. It explains what you may not generate, how we moderate, how to report a violation, and what happens when the rules are broken.

Last updated: 2026-10-22

Scope

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It covers prompts, uploaded inputs and generated outputs submitted through the console, an API key or any integration. You are responsible for every request made through your account and API keys, including requests made by your own downstream users.

Content you may not generate

You may not use the service to generate, request, upload or distribute any of the following six categories of content:

  • Sexual and NSFW content: explicit sexual acts, nudity, or content intended to sexually arouse.
  • Violence and gore: content that glorifies or incites violence, abuse, self-harm, suicide or torture, or shows them in graphic detail.
  • Hate speech: content that attacks, demeans, discriminates against or incites violence toward people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics.
  • Child-unsafe content, including CSAM: any sexual content involving minors, sexualized depictions of minors, or content that harms or exploits children. We have zero tolerance for this.
  • Deepfakes and impersonation: realistic likenesses, voices or actions of real people created without their consent to mislead, defraud, harass, defame or impersonate them.
  • Copyright and trademark infringement: copying or imitating protected works, trademarks or brand marks without authorization, or otherwise infringing intellectual property rights.

Other prohibited conduct

You also may not use the service for illegal activity, fraud or scams, malware, or harassment; attack our systems, bypass rate limits or content moderation, or probe or evade safety controls; abuse upstream providers; or degrade the service for other users.

Content moderation

We use several layers. The safety systems of upstream model providers block some violating requests at generation time. The platform also maintains built-in moderation rules and rules configured by administrators; a request that matches one is ended immediately and the reason is returned to you, without retrying or switching to another upstream.

Our operators review reports and unusual usage that our systems detect, and may look at the related request records (prompt, parameters, task status and result references) to verify them. We do not promise to review all content in advance by hand, and automated moderation cannot guarantee that every violation is blocked.

Request records involved in a review are kept as described in the Privacy Policy and used only for security, compliance and dispute handling.

Reporting a violation

If you find content generated with the service that breaks this policy, or your likeness or work was used without permission, email support@tabtabapi.com with the subject “Content report” and include a link or screenshot of the content, the task ID or request ID if you have one, the type of violation, and how to reach you.

We review reports as quickly as we can, may ask the reporter for more information, and act as described below once a violation is confirmed. Unless the law requires otherwise, we do not disclose the reporter's identity to the reported account. Content involving child safety is handled first and, where the law requires, reported to the competent authority or specialist organization.

Enforcement

Depending on the nature and severity of the violation and whether it is repeated, we may take one or more of the following actions, not always with prior notice:

  • remove or stop serving the related generated content and records;
  • refuse or end the related requests and issue a warning;
  • restrict features, throttle, or suspend the related API keys;
  • suspend or ban the account;
  • for serious or repeated violations, and where the law allows, zero out the remaining credits in the account without a refund;
  • report to the competent authority and cooperate with investigations, including for CSAM or other unlawful content.

If you believe an action was wrong, email support@tabtabapi.com to appeal and we will review it.
